We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Alyse as the photographer for our wedding - an event she agreed with only three weeks notice! Never having met before, she simply arrived at our wedding site and hit the ground running. She bopped around taking photos, and 90% of the time we never even noticed she was there. When it came time for the "staged" photographs, we really hadn't a clue what we were doing, and she did a great job suggesting poses and locations. The photos all came out beautifully (and quickly!!), and all of my friends oohed and ahhed over them. It simply could not have worked better for us, and we really lucked out in finding such a wonderful photographer! Alyse is great!

I could not be more pleased with Alyse's work. I was photographed with my four sisters and my daughter in an outdoor location. The results were incredible. From the individual portraits, to the group shots and the maternity photos of my sister, Emily, each photo was well thought through and tells its own story. Alyse's style is unique. She's casual yet poised, personable yet professional, and flexible yet organized. Alyse is fantastic working with large groups and children as well as individuals. Instead of using poses which can often seem stiff or unnatural, she works with the candid motion of her subjects. She offers just the right amount of direction in order to achieve a polished effect. She has the exceptional ability to capture timeless, natural expression and movement against the backdrop of life. I will definitely be recommending her services to anyone who needs a photographer!

Alyse is an amazing photographer. She has a great eye both during and after the shoot when editing. Most of the time, I had no idea why she was picking certain spots or angles or lighting, but she obviously knew something I didn't... just look at those pictures! She's really good at capturing the essence of each person she shoots. She works calmly and always with a smile and a cheerfulness that puts the subject at immediate ease. Definitely a plus when you're sitting through a couple hundred shots."

I have done portrait sessions with photographers before, but have never felt as satisfied with the finished product or as comfortable during the session as I did with Alyse. Her creative eye combined with her ability to easily spot interesting backgrounds leaves the client with unique and thoughtful pictures. Alyse's approach to the session was both laid back and professional, which allowed us to have fun and be at ease while still producing amazing shots that I will be able to use for various projects.
