Tidbit Tuesday #65

This morning I had a plan. Get up at 8:30. Shower and be out the door by 9:00. UPS and bank by 9:30. Complete blog by 11:00. But who knew that sleeping in an extra 12 minutes would throw my entire schedule out of whack? I have yet to smell like a normal human being. Yet to run errands. And yet to complete the SIXTY-FIFTH installment of Tidbit Tuesday. Thus begins the longest to-do list of my entire life, but I’ll be darned if I don’t get to cross off every single item seven times over. And then one last time with permanent marker… Because that’s the only way to do it.

Remember when I blogged about my latest Facebook targeted ads? Well, Twitter has definitely one-upped the game. I am now being followed on Twitter by a local egg donor company. Fa’real. I then found out I could make $7000 and was all, “Heeeey!!” ;)

This past weekend, Dylan and I went to see Gnomio and Juliet in theatres. And it was the only movie I’d ever walked out on. Not to hate on all you G&J lovers, but my attention span couldn’t handle such a slow moving cartoon. I need me some ACTION cartoons. :) I also knew that the 25th anniversary concert of Les Misérables was playing on PBS at the same time. And what can be better than singing all your favorite songs at the top of your lungs, while simultaneously finishing off your box of concession stand Nerds, and enjoying the long breaks dedicated to public television pledge drives? Nothing, I tell you. Not a thaaang.

Here’s the blurb where I tell you to check out March’s 1 For Me // 1 For You if you haven’t already. ;) It’s super smelly. In the best way possible.

It happened for the first time last week and it scurred me to death! Sully has been doing this frantic heavy breathing thing where it sounds like he can’t breathe at all. Dylan chimed in with his usual, “Google it if you’re worried.” So I did. And I learned that even though it’s completely terrifying, it’s actually very common for dogs with such pushed-in faces to ‘reverse sneeze’ in an effort to clear their nasal passages. Still scary. But sort of interesting too.

Song of the Week: The Dress Looks Nice on You by Sufjan Stevens. All the indie melodrama you need with incredible instrumentation and the feathery soft voice of Sufjan himself. I feel a little silly that I’m just now discovering his stuff. But better late than never.

Now in an effort to tackle this monstrous to-do list, I’ll leave you with a sneak of the past weekend’s wedding of Jackie and Danny. The details were absolutely heavenly. But you’ll have to check back Thursday to see the rest. :)

Happy Tuesday! :)

Kata - I know this is late but I just read it… The first time Henry did the reverse sneeze it freaked me out so much! I almost took him to the vet, but I googled it too! They should warn you about these things!
