Tidbit Tuesday #112

I’m a fan of little things. I’m quite possibly a fan of over-thinking little things as well. But that’s what makes little things so awesome! Take peanut butter, for example. Just this morning, I realized that I wanted toast with peanut butter for breakfast. But it was a NEW jar of peanut butter. One I’d have to put the first swoop in. And nothing, I mean NOTHING, gives me the same sort of fulfillment as being the first one inside a jar of peanut butter. According to some responses I got from my related Instagram, it’s safe to say y’all share my sentiment. Thank you God, for peanut butter. And swooping it FIRST.

I tried not to let on too much, but Dylan basically lived in Tulsa for work all of January and a little bit of February. But now he’s BACK! Suddenly I feel myself celebrating things that we’ve experienced literally thousands of times as if they are true firsts. Our first Monday together… My first time driving/picking him up from work.. Our first time eating dinner in person rather than via Skype. Traveling isn’t always fun. But when Dylan’s home and things are normal, I LOVE IT.

In the past 36 hours, I’ve drunk/drank/drunken/dranken/drinken (who knows!) over 120 ounces of water. In the past week, I’ve been to the gym four times. And in the past two days, I’ve taken my vitamin D, well, twice… ME! The girl who drinks NOTHING all day long. Who hasn’t been to the gym in about a year. I’ve got to say it feels good. And before I lose steam, I’m researching various cleanses. My rules are that it MUST be healthy. And it must let me eat solid food. I’m hearing amazing things about Dr. Junger’s Clean Program. Those of you who’ve done it or know someone who has… Advice? Tips?!

Song of the Week: Keep Your Head Up by Ben Howard. I’ve said it before and I’ll probably say it a hundred more times. My man has solid taste in music. Dylan recently turned me onto Ben Howard. I’m not exactly sure who to compare him to. So instead, I’ll tell you how his music makes me feel. It makes me feel like I’m walking in the forest. Barefoot. Except my feet never hurt or get dirty. Okay, enough. Just listen to him! And more specifically, listen to this song HERE.

We shot the suh-weetest wedding on Sunday at the Alden Hotel. Tammy and Evan’s big day will be featured on the blog this coming Friday, and seriously… There is just SOMETHING about this couple that’ll turn you into their biggest fan. Next to me, of course… You’ll have to wait and see the rest. :)

Happy Tuesday!!
