Colorado Springs Engagement: Lorae & Brent

She’s a little slow to make decisions sometimes. READ: a LOT slow. But it’s not like I can judge her. Lorae is my sister. Three years older than me, an absolutely brilliant writer, and with a heart the size of Texas. Except she’s in Colorado… But she wasn’t always in Colorado. That part took time. A LONG time. ;)

Rae lived in NY for 2.5 years before I convinced her to move to CO to chase her dream of writing for orphan ministry. Okay, I didn’t convince her, necessarily. But I took her small talk about the possibility and said something to the effect of, “Don’t you DARE not do this. Don’t you DARE not make this decision. Do it! Run after it. And, Rae? There are a LOT more Christian guys to marry out there than in the city. Winky-winky…”

Last October, a mutual friend introduced Lorae and Brent. And last month another decision was made… Except it wasn’t slow. It was actually rather quick.. But it was right. And it was good. Rae will be marrying her best friend this coming September. I am thrilled to be on Matron of Honor duty. But I’m more thrilled to gain a big brother who’s clearly the perfect one for my sister. And? I was totally right about moving to Colorado. BAM!!

L & B – I love you both. And we’re ALL so happy God has brought you two together. I can’t even BELIEVE I’m posting about YOUR engagement pictures. F’real. So without further ado, I hope you enjoy them… XOXO!!

We started shooting out in Old Colorado City. I flipping love that place…

And this right here? Is the café Lorae and Brent first met. :)

Brent’s tall, handsome, and knows all the answers to my psychosomatic health queries! Kinesiology for the win!

After a quick outfit change, we ventured out to this little pull-off area on Mesa Road. The wind was FIERCE.

Um? You guys are killing meee…

I loved this little tree. And this moment. :)

FAVORITE.

Off to Spruce Mountain we went! And clearly, Lorae thinks I’m maaad funny.

Oh, someday their babies are gonna be cah-uuuuute.

Another favorite on the left. So beautiful…

Rae! I love your face. :)

The light was also absolute perfection.

And a third favorite comes along. ;)

These next images were shot the next day while at Brent’s parent’s house for dinner! Thanks, Debbie and Mark. :)

Isn’t Rae drop dead gorgeous?! I can’t stop looking at her. And Brent? Don’t hate me. Your face is priceless. :)

Congratulations to the future Mr. and Mrs. Kinseth!!

Time to leave them some LOVE! <3
