Rice Village Engagement: Hayley & Robert

We met over brunch to chat all-things-Syracuse, Jesus, and boys… More specifically, our boys :) Hayley’s a ‘Cuse alumn just like myself, so when she moved to Houston we made sure to reconnect! On this particular day, Hayley mentioned Robert was planning a surprise date that night. The location was a mystery, and Hayley thought it was to celebrate her brand new job! But I stopped right then and there with a mouth full of omelet and guessed “HE’S GONNA PROPOSE!!” Oh, nahhh. Not tonight, she giggled. But I insisted… I know the signs when I SEE them!!

That same night, I was all snuggly in bed when I was awoken by a text that read: “He took me to Melting Pot!” Two thoughts went racing through my head. 1) It’s 11PM. There’s gotta be more to this text! And 2) Maybe she’s just REALLY into The Melting Pot! ;) Just before my head hit the pillow a second time, a new text had me waking up Dylan hootin’ and hollerin’… “AND THEN LATER HE PROPOSED!!” Moral of this story? I totally called it. :)

D&I are SO excited to be a part of H&R’s big day this coming November!! Two people couldn’t be more suited for each other. And they certainly couldn’t be any more fabulous models… We met up in Rice Village earlier this week to grab some engagement shots I am l.o.v.i.n.g. I hope ya’ll love them as much as I do! XOXO!!

Robert’s a worship leader and Hayley’s a youth minister. Match made in Heaven, no doubt! :)

This one might be my favorite from the whole session…

A quick outfit change and a little more ampersand-fun!

My favorite thing about this adorable couple is how easily they LAUGH with each other.

And Hayley? Could you stop being such a stunner?

Happy Wednesday!!
