Heights Theater Wedding: Karen & Darryl

Karen and Darryl tied the knot late last month in of the more unique weddings we’ve shot! Bright pops of color and an old theater? Brang it on. (Yes, brang…) My favorite thing about K&D – who are often mistakenly referred to as Karryl and Daren – is the sweet, calming effect they have on each other. With quiet smiles and eager hearts, they exchanged vows in front of their very favorite people. And we were so happy to be a part of it!

K&D – Y’all are simply wonderful… Thank you for trusting us and for being so lovely to work with! We hope you enjoy these reminders of your special day :) XOXO!! Alyse, Dylan & Kaley

I fell in love with Karen’s Maggie Sottero gown the minute I laid eyes on it. I’m sure she could say the same!

Many thanks to Last Petal for the pretty blooms. Lots of yellow and LOTS of succulents!

Top it all off with Gianni Bini heels and beautification by Liz, and you get these two shots…

If you didn’t already notice, Karen’s a STUNNER. We also loved shooting at Heights Theater for the first time!

‘Twas absolute fun working with these girls! XO!!

Dylan started out with the guys and grabbed this sharp image of Darryl prepping…

Total goofballs. It took a while to get this shot ;) Thanks for giving us the smolder, guys!

Ceremony time…

I should also thank Resha of Something to Celebrate for making sure things ran smoothly throughout the day!

After things were made official, the front of First Evangelical Lutheran Church made our perfect backdrop.

And then my favorite part :) Shout out to Brittan Pittman for capturing the day with us through video!

Y’all are way too good looking… Seriously?!

Fun fact: Darryl proposed to Karen using the marquee at this very theater :)

Cakes by Gina, ladies and gents… ALWAYS the best choice!

Can I just brag on Kaley for a second? She shot details while we shot the ceremony. T-e-a-m-WORK.

After hysterical toasts and sweet first dances…

Karen and Darryl gave us one heck of a cute exit picture :)

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Ehlert!! XOXO!!
